Defecting From Bethel
As someone who exited what I call “revivalist charismatic” churches in the early 2000’s, but who still has family and friends in these streams of Christianity, I was struck again by the need for more voices helping people escape cultish sects. As you may know from my bio, I left Christianity for 8 years to heal from such abuses, and though I’ve returned to Christianity, I understand why not everyone does.
